armalite lock key blank

Postby kwikpik » 5 Oct 2005 18:18

Howdy all I have a amarlite lock that needs rekeyed, the key blank is so worn I can barely read the numbers on it, what I can make out is 99N. Is this the same as the Yale 999N y1e blank, and if so can't I use the Yale pinning chart to repin this lock.
Thx for all the info
I tried the search function but nothing popped up

Do you have a picture of this lock?? I would be interested in seeing it. As far as the blank goes I am not familiar with the lock so I cannot tell you for sure but a picture of the lock, the cylinder keyway, and the key will help us identify it for you.

to open the lock on an armalite, you pull back on the charging handle at the back end of the reciever this will twist the bolt and pull it back. :P

Then the real fun begins or the fecal matter hits the cooling unit depending on the situation you are in :) .
