Standar 5pin cylinder problems

Postby JOA2 » 7 Oct 2005 4:14

Hi.
I am new here.
I started with lock picking about one mounth ago.
I started with a chinese padlock, and before read MIT guide I was able to open it in 10 seconds. Later I bought a table lock and before one day, i open it. OK later I bought a standar TE5 cylinder from TESA. It has 5 spingloaded anti-pick pins. I have beeing trying to open this loock for two weeks and it is imposible for me.
I that normal for a beginer?
Maybe I am very clumsy?
Can some one help me to find information?

Here is information about lock used?
http://www.tesa.es/eng/marcas/tesa/cilindros.html

Thank you
Oscar

Hi Oscar,
Its always best to search before asking questions as its bound to have been asked before.

Some locks with security pins can be picked and some cannot or so it may seem at first it takes time and a lot of practise and thats what picking is all about.
