If someone would be so kind to take a picture of a Peterson pick beside a ruler I would be very happy. Just want to see how big they will be. Im going to try and make a case.

I hope that helps.

Measuring Peterson pick (exact, in inches):
Handle thickness: .470"
Handle length: 3.127"
Shaft length: 1.656"
Overall lenght: 4.792"
Length of 7 Picks in a row (7 picks is usually a "just picks" set): 3.347"
I currently use a HPC case that is 2.5" wide and 5.25" long, they fit my Petersons snugly. There are 3 picks stacked on top of 4. The 3 I use most are on top.

This was originally for jig saw blades. I bought the blades mostly because I wanted the case. Now my homemade set resides in it, which in turn resides in my truck.

Rolls up nicely.

I would also like to know the distance between the stiching AKA where the picks are inserted.

Really, throw your picks down on some cloth and give it a shot. You may find that you need a much looser pouch for the petersons with rubber handles, as friction may keep them more snugly in certain materials. Also, the space between stitching is meaningless if you slightly tent the fabric, so as to allow more room in each pouch.

If you haven't gotten your Petersons... I would hold off on making a case. The picks come in a very sturdy plastic tube that acts as a great case.
