mortice or euros?

Postby chrisjc33 » 13 Oct 2005 18:01

95% of the calls i get for problem locks seem to be euros/striplocks.
is it just me or do you other lockies think the same about a mortice(bs3621) it's a challenge it's got a bit of backbone.
not like a normal euro which falls open then it gets a sniff of the pickgun

a good BS3621 lock in my opinion is far more robust and far more secure a lock, euros are too weak and to easily bypassed.

The upvc stuff has been good for me this year, i think its mainly due to dry weather this summer and houses moving slightly making the keeps etc go out of adjustment.
