I would make a lock that could:
-> Automatically (with use of camera) measure critical facial and body demetions (ie distance between eyes, height, shoe size).
-> Weigh you once you step in front of door
-> The doorknob would read the capacitance of your hand, so when you turn the doorknob it unlocks if your hand is authorized.

All wiring and such would be protected. Basically, its' a lock that you just walk up to the door and turn the handle, no thought required.

Well obviosly there would be a weight range, like 130-140. Not only does it provide a basic level of authentication, two people couldn't open the door at one time (ie someone takes you hostage). Because the combined weight would not be right.

The capacitance of your hand I read to mean the size, or if you want to get super techno geeky, the amount of electric charge it could hold. The patterns on your fingertips don't have a lot to do with that.

Many more modern finger-print readers don't read the actual pattern on your fingerprint, but read the electrical capacitance from different points in your finger. I'm just saying use that technology, but for the whole hand including finger tips.
