Could you check IP's to see if this POS is still visiting this site under a different name? OK, he may opt to use a public machine with a different IP, but it would be nice to know if he's dumb enough to be still amongst us using his personal machine... and trying to steal again. Quicklocks has already had his videos ripped off and purported to be the property of someone else...maybe not for sale at that point, but still another rip-off of a member on this site.

Coincidentally, what is the protocol regarding a banned member? Is their original IP blocked from access to the LP101 server? Could they circumvent a ban by using another/public/newly-configured machine?

Ban IP is just that... a banned IP. Having said that, there's really no way to stop someone from posting from a public computer. But people who are knobs once are probably apt to be knobs again.

We do what we can and live with what we get.

And banning IP's will not stop those who surf behind multiple proxies either. Banning IP's is pretty much worthless but there are not many other options out there either.
