I use very light tension, and a hook pick. Takes some time to understand fully how this pin reacts when picked, so try and imagine what the pins are likely to be doing in the lock *mental picture* once you know which are the mushroom pins then lift the pins high with your pick, and 'bump' your tension wrench to try and get the pins to properly set. Once the mushroom pins are set, then just pick the remaining pins as normal.
(by 'bumping' a tension wrench I mean to change the amount of tension gently, almost a pulsing changing of tension - it doesn't have to be much, but I find it helpfull because the varying tension sets the security pins, just make sure you don't let too much tension, or you may unset some pins)
