Hey everyone!

Uhm, basically, lockpicking has been something that has interested me since i was a kid. The idea that all the close doors are now open, and only you have the skill to do it was kinda like some childish fantasy i had...

...yeah, but now-a-days i'm just plain interested..

So! I went ahead, saved up a tonne of cash, and imported a range of SouthOrd from the US (i like in the UK)

I have a ton of questions still to ask, but basically i'm getting there...
I've read around and alot of them have already been answered, but don't worry, i'm sure i'll have more

So yeah! Hey everyone!

New - need some help (I think) PLEASE Don't Laugh

Postby daniel99 » 12 Nov 2005 22:47

I am here to try to "fix" a combination on a La Gard 3330 lock, that I proceeded to mess up.

This is NOT my career - but here is what I did.

Got cabinet with a LaGard 3330 combination. Got the combination from the previous owner. Works fine. Folks come and go, so I want to change combination. Buy a 'change key' on eBay for $10 or so. Tried to use it, but it didn't seem to insert so that it can turn.

I figured it was not a deep enough, so I took off the cover of the lock, and inserted the change key.

THEN, even the existing combination is "lost", can't even get back where I was. The "change key" I bought on eBay is described as a Group 2 change key.

The current situation is deciding where i want to live, personally i believe they both are shitholes, but the main question is whether to live closer to my Mother or my Father.
