I've improv'd a pick out of many things. Paperclips, safety pins, wire, plastic coffee stirrers, shims, in fact, pretty much anything vaguely useable.
Of course, now I take a set of proper picks everywhere, letting me deal with most lock-out calls from my belt and jacket!
I used a sewing needle, and a pocket knife for torque..stupid tubular locks.
