Its a little tricky with Medeco, so I will try to explain the best I can.

Biaxial means that it works off of two axises insted of one. So for each angle, (Left, Center, Right) you have two different pins, FORE and AFT. If you take a schlage bitted key and put it into the core, look down at the cuts through the core holes. What do you see? Well you see a flat in the middle of the key. OK, Now take a Biaxial lock core with key and do the same thing. What do you see? Well you see a "V" that is either torwards the front of the pin hole or towards the rear. So if you look down at the key through the core with the lock in your left hand and the rear of the lock pointed towards the right, you can tell if it is a FORE or a AFT. If the "V" is towards the right, it is a AFT for AFTer if it at the left, it is a FORE for beFORE.
Next all you have to do is tell if the angle is left right or center.

If the cut looks like this: "\" it is a left cut.

If it looks like this: "|", it is a center cut.

If it looks like this "/" it is a right cut.

So now that you know if it is FORE or AFT, and if it is Left, Center or Right, you can choose a pin. KM is left FORE and AFT accordingly.
BD is FORE and AFT center accordingly.
QS is right FORE and AFT accordingly.

All you have to do is stick the depth number in front and you know what pin to put in there. Remember: Put the same number top pin as bottom pin to make it the correct spring pressure. Just took a Medeco 3 Certification so if you have any questions let me know while it is still hot in my mind.
