Well, if you are talking about a pin cylinder lock, then just think... Until the right key is put in, then all the bottom pins are at the same lowest possible point and therefore not able to provide information to the 'gel'. The best you could (theoretically) do is to find a way (thin piece of wire?) to hold all the pins fully up, and make a mold of the keyway, to find out the shape of a restricted blank for example.

I don't fancy your chances though.

what you want to do is get hold of some Mazola, and cram it into the keyway... then simply leave it there for severall minutes.. then the lock will magicaly open... you can add some KY jelly at the same time to help getting the mould.

P.S; I'm joking

oh I know what hes talking about

the word on the street is that in the 70's there was a bad batch of play-dough that had "uber properties" it could magically open lock, basically and essentially because it could apply tension and expand at the same time. The playdough industry was crushed though when small children were dieing because the playdough would expand to its maximum expansion and suffocate small children. I believe 9 unlucky children died from smothering from playdough. The playdough was removed from the market and replaced the the current inferior version which can only open locks with the sacred brass magnet which John Falle keeps in top secret along with the master key to everything.
nothn a 9 cant fix.
