single wafer tumbler

single wafer tumbler

Hi all, complete newbie here looking for info on how to best open a single wafer tumbler? Any help would be greatly appreciated. And where can i buy the right tools for the job? (i'm in the uk)

What have you got a single wafer tumbler on?

Personally i dont see the point, i wouldnt call it a lock, stick anything in there and turn basically.

Ahhhh skold, you are a mean, mean man.

Matt, I don't think there is such a thing as a single wafer lock. The minimum amount I've seen is three. Have another look. :wink:

I think he is referring to a wafer lock, as opposed to a double wafer lock.

In which case, I'd stick anything you like in it and
tickle the wafers, while turning the keyway with
slight pressure.

I saw a single wafer the other day as well, i smacked the guy in the van because i paid for 2 wafers on my sundae.

Seriously though. I have actually seen a lock with only one wafer on a cheap Floppy Disc Case. I picked it with just a tension wrench.
