America Door Lock

My 7yr old locked my keys in my bedroom. Its a keyed lock from Home Depot. I have not found a way to get in without breaking the door down. There is no gap for me to jimmy the lock with a knife or credit card. I have no lock picking tools. Any ideas other than breaking down the door?

A Locksmith might be the easiest & safest way to go if you don't want to sleep on the lounge tonight!

Thats cheap in Orange County other charge $170 for lock out


mgator1 If you did not get that open you can get you drill out, that will do it and cheaper that kicking the door down.

Am I the only one wondering how this could be possible? Is the 7 child still in the bedroom, or did it throw the keys through the window that doesn't exist into the bedroom after it was locked? Well I'm unable to figure it out.

You could pull the carpet up and then lift the floor boards then use a pole with a hook on the end to get the keys

I'm gonna go out on a limb and try and fill in the blank here. I'd bet it's a Key In Knob cylinder, which was locked from the inside (while the door was open) and then the door was closed from the outside.

But boy oh boy we are a suspicious bunch, aren't we? I suppose the coke machine h4x0r n00bs have trained us well.
