That was my first thought - what would it be considered? A bored lock-set perhaps?

Looks like either a combined handleset or a straightforward padlock + nonlocking handleset... picture's a little unclear.

Picker, all I'm asking is that you show some courtesy to people who have done nothing to contraindicate it. I can't address anyone else's behavior and neither can you.

sindri's lock in question is a schlage deadbolt. The images source url gave it all away

All right. Separate handle and deadbolt, but sold packaged; that explains it.
