Molybedium disufide

Well I was studying for my Chem final and was going over a problem which says " Molybedium disufide, MoS2 has a structure that allows it to be used as a dry lubricant, much like graphite"
I was wondering if anyone has used this stuff or if anyone could get ahold of some and try it out.

If I recall correctly from my reloading info, Moly has a tendancy to attract moisture so it may not be the best idea for lock lubrication.

Molybdenum Disulphide (in powder form) is quite harmful if breathed in, or contacts eyes, etc.

I for one wouldn't want to try squirting it into a lock, instead of using a graphite based lubricant.

they use that stuff also as a coating on some kinds of bullets. it is good stuff.
