what?

What model number do you have? I understand that some brinks have security pins in them, making them more difficult.

You'll see the words "high security," "hardened," etc. in a new light the better you get at picking.

hey, hardened is real

Postby raimundo » 10 Dec 2005 15:17

sometimes, hardened is real, like on amercan brand big locks, or even kryptonite u locks, (I just looked at the bic for bikes evo 2000 link, didn't see the link for the video though.)

"high security" is a meaning less phrase because it depends on what it is being compared to. even the worst lock can be considered high security over nothing..

Although, some of the stuff out there stamped high security is a real joke. I'm assuming it means that you'd have to be high to think there's any security in it. I suppose if you're high enough, even using the key would be challenging.

high security stuff can be bypassed, and it is here that it matters the most.

But yeah most people will see "high security" and think it is an act of god.

I once hacksawed through a "hardened" shackle in 30 secs before - it was quite chunky, but in fact a piece of crud.

talking of getting high.. I once had a similar occurence - it happened in a field with my g/f, and although I thought I was doing something right it turned out I had literaly been chewing grass for 5 mins  :P

j/k - I don't do drugs :D
