why would anybody have ace locks protecting $??

Postby keysman » 12 Dec 2005 13:43

Something is not right with this story!

#1. Ace locks are rarely used to protect $ , as most thieves understand very well how to by pass them,
They are most likely a different make of lock.

#2. $2000 to R&R the locks ....!!!!!! Give me a break ! Either you gave us or the lockie the wrong info.
For $2K you can Fly me to your location, hire a limo to drive me around, keep me in the finest hotel in the state, and still end up with
better locks than you have now.

#3. You are a business man with an ongoing business but you want to "play" with opening "vending locks"???? HMMMMMMM

My recommendation would be call the company that supplies parts to the car wash equipment and get a referral to the service company they use.
You can be sure you are not the first car wash owner to have a similar problem ( i.e. lost / missing keys)
Ask them to leave the old locks so you have some to play with.

I find a locksmith claiming it would cost $2000 to cut a key from an ace lock a bit unbelievable myself. That's like a 5 minute job. Call another locksmith and ask him how much it would cost to have an Ace tubular lock impressioned.

Yahoo yellow pages shows no Kamel or Kameltoe in the Crestview Hills, KY area... also shows 125 different locksmith services within a 50 mile radius.

Good story .. you had me going!

I think it was obvious that the buisness was not called Kamel Toe...(unless you are being sarcastic) It is a car wash, not a strip club....

Look on Google earth... the only one that looks like it could hold 7 stalls would be one across the state border in OH... the rest look smaller or non-DIY

Come to think of it, do any dimple locks use various spring stengths to resist foil impressioning?

Look here! DONT EVER talk about my wife understand? Id fly around the world to put my foot in your ass.

And keysman? I would like to give u congrats for getting the "dick" of the year award.

I dont have to steal from vending machines folks. I wake up in a 9,000 sq ft home with a 4 car garage....How many of you still RENT? Or still riding the bus? Great wife and kids with a booming business of my own.

I would like to thank only those that was willing to help me. And like I said in my 1st post "I dont know anything about the car wash business and never had to deal with locks like this". Until my wife and her brother figure out if they want to run it themselves or sell it I am still going to get the boxes open and re keyed up and working again. With or without whiney flamers in tow.
New...Very NEW
