The normal maroon avocet bs is 5g and not 7g so you have an unusual one ????
Avocet pick in exactly the same way as ERA, run your wire across the pack and id the high and low lifts, pick the high lifts first to the gate, then just nudge the low lifts to the gate and its open.

if you pick low lifts first its difficult to pick the high lift past the anti pick, so set highs first then gently pick the lows, once you id the highs and lows you beat the lock.

thanks pink
actually have two one two and a half inch and a three an a half inch
i removed them from some timber doors that were changed to pvc
one from the front one from rear one key opens both!
it's definetly 7g as is my cb pick.

will keep trying on my technique.

if you like can mail them to you?

that would be good.

are you able to correctly id your high and low lift levers ? if so its also possible to overlift high lifts, feather tension a little to drop the highs to their gates then lift low lifts a nudge to open.
