Searching for work

Please forgive, if I state the obvious here!! but have many of you considered approaching the Local Authorities and offering the non-destructive method of opening  and highlighting the saving they could generate? I have found that many authorities use chippies / joiners to gain access by drilling or brute force. This can cost the clients from between £30 - £800 x any amount of calls is some saving. I done this recently and showed massive savings!! any comments

I now do all the lock work for my local councils, i also get called to cut multiples of keys for them as well.

It generates a lot of wealth

I do have to wait a while for a cheque though as they can only be signed by 3 people and they need to do it together.

At the local parish council this can only be done once a month but its all good money and they wont let you down.

What is this "local council" in the UK? Something like a city council or city hall?

Yes, good description "Quicklocks" I worked with them for 17 yrs and know them inside out. With a bit of homework and approaching the right people they can be" opened up". Any advice on Police work anyone?
