BS3621 1/1/06 ?

European hardware -lever locks, profile cylinders specific for European locks. European lock picks and European locks.

BS3621 1/1/06 ?

Postby SteveW » 16 Dec 2005 22:30

Ive red Pinkys description of a BS3621 2004 lock and the criteria that these locks must meet. But which locks on the market are actually kite- marked BS3621 2004.
The new BS becomes law on the 1/1/06, yet there seem to be very few locks on the maket carrying the new kite-mark. Union and Chubb have upgraded some of there existing range of locks (many Chubb locks met the new standard already), but what of the other manufacturers ?
