how to post pictures

I've got a lock I need some advice on. I've got some photos, but don't know how to insert them into this post. Using a mac, safari. Tried using internet explorer, but no different. I guess I was expecting a browser window to come up when I clicked on the button "Img" on this form, but all I got was a "[img]". I"ve tried the copy paste, and this may work!

yes with a lock on any post for 3 days, or until they have read the rules first and have a check box that they read all the rules, be for letting any newbies post.

Ohhhhhhh for Pete's sake. It's linked at the top of every forum in BOLD LETTERS and my sig (as well as that of a number of users) links directly to it. I don't think there's much more that can/should be done to make it clearer (though I've looked at having the link added to the welcome email, but that's up to Mr. Picks to determine if he wants to do that).

Having a check box would mean about as much as the I Agree button for the EULA statements on every piece of software, and preventing posts for a time would, IMO, be a bad idea as it would make it more difficult for newbies to use this site as a resource... something we're trying to promote, not prevent.

I don't really mind just pointing people there when they've missed it.

Somehow, they're smart enough to overcome the obstacles put in place to block them, but ignorant enough to not realize they're about to screw something up, really REALLY bad!
