Information about locks themselves. Questions, tips and lock diagram information should be posted here.

Thank you Shep.
I suppose I'm lacking the knowledge required for any additional questions so will proceed to scrounge some blanks, get out the jewelers files, and have ait it.
Will go read about bump keys. If the code doesn't work and they are applicable to wafer locks it may be the way to go before resorting to impression.

they will not bump - the purpose of bump keys is to seperate the pin sets at the sheer line, since the wafers are 1 piece u will shag up your lock...
don't try!

ooohhhh.... so it must be cold in Manitoba at the moment - I mean in England we have the problem with overlarge picks dragging on the floor, but you don't seem to have that kind of problem in Manitoba...
if you can bump that way when it's cold then you want to get yourself checked out
or have I been looking at this from the wrong angle??

Fair enough. I'll stop.
My apologies to Shrub, illusion, and anyone else who may have felt annoyed.
P.S. In all honesty, I fail to see how my comment was any more annoying/unfunny than your Lassie comment. Regardless, I will stop.

Personally i thought illusions gag funny but yours seems to go deeper, it seemed you was refering to a previous post i think in which you said shrubs are for watering and not taking advice from which was a bit twatish especially as you didnt put a smiley after it showing it was a joke but rather a devil evil smiley which suggested you meant it in a nasty way but im not bothered as i said kiss my arse come on all lets play nicely, i want to keep my bbq in the closet for now
Db, yes yes yes, i did know that and still dont quite understand it, i know you did it and saw you do it but ifs its possable as you showed i wouldnt suggest it to a noob with locks as damage surely must be the next step.
Youll be sorry when ive finished my electric bananna pick.

Yep...
I had a different understanding of the devil-smiley. The remark would have been interpreted with a different color had it been on some of the other forums that I frequent, but I can see that some aspects of my humor don't mesh well on this board. This has been braught to my attention and will no longer be a problem effective immediately.

Well, I'm glad you've all worked that out. I was wondering if I'd have to put you all in different corners.
And Shrub, regarding bumping wafer locks with the frozen banana... of course I agree. I was really only saying that because it was funny. It was. Really. I laughed. Honest. Laughed. Well. Chuckled anyway. Like I'm chuckling now.

EDIT: My over use of short sentences only counteracts Shrubs perpetual run-on sentences. Somehow, between the two posts, we end up putting hte universe back into balance.

I'm not tipping my hand on that one... but the bumping was done purely for entertainment purposes and should not be tried at home.
