Is it worth it?

Pull up a chair, grab a cold one, and talk about life as a locksmith. Trade stories of good and bad customers, general work day frustrations, any fun projects you worked on recently, or anything else you want to chat about with fellow locksmiths.

Is it worth it?

I am interested in becomming a locksmith as a side profession. Is it realastic to think the training and the money involved are worth it? Is there a lot of competetion out there? I am located in Chicago suburban area. How much income can one expect doing this as a part time gig? Is there really a big demand?

Thanks for any insight given.
