Bumping 'n spinning

I have seen a video of someone bumping one of those multi-point locks where you have to turn the key repeatedly. To overcome resetting, they simply turned the key to just before the setting point, then hit the edge of the bow with a hammer to spin the key.

That's what I was talking about. I'm sure it would work.

I don't actually know how that lock works, vector40, or even what manufacturer it is, but obviously it must use pin columns if it bumps open.

I am sure, however, that I have seen a video (on that site?) of someone using the spinning technique Chrispy describes, but I'm not going to watch all of them again to find it...
