i have tryed a yale with security pins and it does turn because the shape of the pin allow the plug to turn a tiny bit making you think youve set a pin. But really its jsut the plug going into the gap of the top pin. Thats why you use light Tension

yes.. but even if yuo false set the security pin you can set all the other pins normaly.. then you try to turn the plug a few degrees and it will stop.

I don't like just using light tension - that's why I've been learning how to set them right if I false-set them in the first place... works on most cylinders ive tried it on as well.

If I have to read another pointless post by someone (Jason13) who has nothing to offer, I might go insane. Please just practice until you are more familiar with security pins. I think you have already received more than enough help. The multitude of guides and videos available must have helped you, because there is no way anybody could be that dense.
As it turns out, there is only 1 way to do things...right, and fast.

lets just say that blocker for certain member's posts is my friend right now...

it filters out the crap from a certain member and leaves me to help those who really need it, and moreso make an effort.

this is not even being nasty, but it seems that every piece of advice was/is ignored... every link sent was/is ignored... every guide was/is ignored... this way everybody's happy
