help. my snap gun is leaking!!! URGENT

help. my snap gun is leaking!!! URGENT

i dropped it and this gooey stuff that looks like tree sap is oozing out of it. whats going on?

could it be some kind of lubricant for the interior. it is fairly new it that means anything.

It's called lubricant. The pickgun will not die, as it does not need lubricant to live.

To be fair, it's pretty odd that the stuff would start oozing out. Sounds like it was overlubed.

A lot of metal tools get stored long term in grease, things like guns will literally last hundreds of years like that. It was probably grease packed then wiped clean before being shipped to you.

When I first got my gun I was a little disappointed with the fact that after several pulls of the trigger the grease would start to ooze out right near the trigger, getting all over my hands.

This went on for the first little while, but now most of the excess grease has found it's way via my hands to the legs of my jeans, so it's all good. :)

Surley the gooy stuff went in the gun and then simply dripped out again,

They are lubed with grease and not oil incase youve been playing,

If youve dropped it in somthing thats broken white grease down that fast you need to undo the gun and thourghly clean it out and relube it with white grease, also check where ever it dripped on to as well as you may now have a rotting carpet or somthing.
