Quite true.

Also the reason the company i purchased the protec from had to redo parts of their MK system.

I wouldn't really count it as picking until i can pick the lock when it is less masterkeyed.

If it becomes common for people to be using the names of Budda, Ala, Vishnu, or any other deity in a way that could be offensive to those of a particular faith, rest assured they'll be added to the word censor as well.

Skold, do you have plans a foot to rekey the protec? surley its a much cheaper option to get the spares than to buy a new lock?

Hey, who's read the Da Vinci Code? Anyone recognize the "laser-pocked" triangular safe deposit key? Didn't seem like anything I've ever heard of.

I don't think there's a bypass tool available for the Protec at the moment, unless Falle's Abloy tool also works with the Protec.

It's probable that Dan Brown based the triangular key on the square key of the XYLOK; I don't know of any other design that's remotely similar. (beyond the various dimple exotics, of course.)

I read a lot of chatter and heard alot of rumors but there is just absolutely no way to pick any of the Abloy series like classic, profile, disklock, disklock pro, exec, protec. The discs are just too many like a fixed 10 digit combination lock. All the discs rotate with practically no friction no such thing as tension.
