Welcome mate, and thank you for that pleasant introduction.
Picks can be made relatively cheaply with hacksaw blades and tension wrenches out of the thin strips of metal behind windscreen wiper blades.
Many posts have been made about master combination locks, and also how to beat them. "shims" "master combination" are two things that may help you by searching them on this site... the search function is next to the "rules" button at the top of the screen btw.
A general piece of advice would be to click the link below my signature picture - it contains useful and relevant links that will help you.
Enjoy this site, happy picking

Hello.
My name is Chris and i have been lurking around here for a few months now.
I am very impressed with the wealth of good information here. The respect and quality of the posts really seperate this forum from many others. I hope to be able to contribute this forum as my experience increases.
I have made quite a few picks based on info from this site, and after hours of practice, I have become comfortable with the regular locks that i have gotten my hands on.
Right now i am working on a set of tension tools for SFICs, being that i received a couple in padlocks without keys for Christmas.
I look forward to future correspondence with everyone.

Am I the only one who finds it a little creepy that the first female to join this site in a while is Sky Dancer and the next user is Sky Stalker?

Hello, My name is Matt and I’ve always admired the skill that it takes to do anything tedious such as lock picking. I also have OCD, which will make this even more fun.. Anyways I have been rebuilding my first truck, an 89 Blazer since it was wrecked and have some extra parts sorted out in the garage. I tried to sacrifice the wiper blades for a nice set of homemade picks but the steel brace is not the same shape as the others that are being used. They have a large gap in the middle of them and are basically useless. I really hope that this hobby takes off for me, it is one that I feel I could route a lot of my obsessive-compulsive tendencies towards. Thanks for having so many tutorials on hand. There is no need to stay here all night searching for them.

Just started picking a couple of weeks ago, and as far as my record I have gotten my ass wooped by a master lock like you see at a storage place. Lookin foward to learning...
