Sargent Lock - Info needed

Postby Badmonkey005 » 31 Dec 2005 17:27

Hey, a friend of mine gave me a Sargent lock he had lieing around. I tried to pick it but for some reason I cant. The lock is a brass color and I cannot find it on the Sargent website to get the details on it.

Anyone have a clue with what i'm dealing with?

I've picked a sargent key in knob on a simplex. It requires a little tension wrench with a light tension, and a feeler pick, and some patience.

This cylinder is Sargent's patented key control. It has side dimples. My high school had this sort, and they are indeed difficult to duplicate [though not difficult in the Medeco/Bilock sense].
