pinky wrote:1 x front door lock @ £175 plus vat
1 x smoke detector unit @ £120 plus vat
2 x fobs at £60

so the most basic system comes in at £355 plus vat for front door only, add ons are;

back door and additional door locks £150 plus vat
window locks at £80 plus vat

I would think they are public prices and not trade ones or else the customer has a very expensive lock on their hands or theres no profit in them.

the prices are what you or i can by these for, these are the trade prices we get them for, you decide upon your own mark up.

gee

you can buy direct from mila, no fitting ability required as the computers in the internal handle, it fits over existing strip, just fit the smoke alarm within 6ft of door.
Mila will also send the local guy out to you to fit it for you if your not confident to do it, but you will pay his mark up, its very territorial and someone will be fitting in your area, if no one then one can cross borders

There is a large Mila service centre just up the road where i work been there before for handles and the like will bob up in the week and have a talk to them.
The prices are expensive but if its the best available then cost isn't an issue plus there doesn't seem much else available that give such a neat fit.
PS Happy new year to you all,
lock picking! i luv it

But dont forget who pays for it, if its a business then fine but were on about a old lady here that cant get round too well, thats a hefty bill for a pension to take.

Im just saying consider the other options with her as well.

i believe both era and locca offer a cheaper system for upvc doors, and aldridge have some digi locks that replace standard upvc handles, all worth considering as cheaper options.

It will be paid for by the firm i work for as it's the bosses mother so the cost won't bother them too much as long as its a good system and reliable
