114 decoder

Postby srv » 1 Jan 2006 13:37

Hi,
Happy new year to you all !

I'm looking to purchase a tool for the 114's in the near future. I'm just after a bit of advice. I know of the Staddon and Safe Ventures kits but are there any other kits available. Obviously I want the best, most versatile kit at the most competitive price. Also if any one happens to be selling a kit I may be interested.

Thanks
srv

the kit is 100% effective as long as you know how to use it and you maintain a level of practice on it. you wont just pick it up and open every 114 in site, practice makes perfect, and get someone to show you how to use it properly.

Be careful with the others they can jam up in the lock quite easy, SV the ones to get as already said.

SV gets my vote too. As Pinky has said, get somone in the know to show you how to use it, and a bit of practice will see you open anyone of them. Of course you need to ID it first :(

The problem I have is finding enough 114's to practice on.
