I have a sentry pistolbox, that locks/unlocks if I push up twice with my double dimond pick. That's crap. I think I payed $10 for it.

What exactly did you expect for $10?

Something you could tear open by rolling pliers? Yea, good stuff. I had a old silver fireproof box I lost they key too, but that took atleast a half minute to pick open.

I had one of those money banks when I was younger that had a cruddy wafer lock... I lost the key, so ended up forcing a piece of plastic into it...
it turns out the lock had only one wafer and just ramming a piece of old credit-card platic into it and turning unlocked it... I still have the box now, and still use that strip of credit-card to unlock it lol.
$10?? I'm not overly suprised to be honest..

I still can't feel pins. I thought i found one of those mushroom security pins in the back, switch picks, opens, opens, opens. I still need to get started with the single pin lock.

I have an hour before work. I think I am going to do just that, and see if I can pick up a lock or two as the $10 box is > me.

I have a piggy bank that has a plastic plug in the bottom of it. Every time I insert a flat blade screwdriver under it, and apply a little twist on the handle, the darn thing opens.
Total junk. I am bringing it back to the dollar store. And, I am going to demand to get my um, DOLLAR back!

Rotary pick works too, one quick squeeze and it opens every time.

It's all about the tension . . .

Almost every cash box is crap. Especially the ones with an L&F lock on them.
Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....

Returned to the scene of the crime, bought one of those keyed on both sides deadbolts from wally-world, its kinda nice, the back unscrews, and you can just swap out pins. It has 2 security pins in it, but since it's 2 locks you can trade them out. "Mountain Security" was the brand.

Yea, they do that here too. I bought the gun with a big yellow padlock that has a cord that slides through the chamber.
A few months ago before I moved here for college, a group of my best friends decided they wanted some guns and paid me a visit when I wasn't home. They are in jail and I have my stuff back but yea, its just paranoia on my part with locking things up.
Sadly, I have a whole garage of metalworking tools, so If someone had the time, a cheap safe wouldn't fix the problem. I'm sure I will think of something.
