Master Lock Ident/Pwnd!

Postby v12v12 » 13 Jan 2006 0:31

Okay WOW how scary... I was in a comp lab today and saw a typical cable with a master lock on the end of it... I took a look at it and saw it was something similar to my American 700 in that it has a similar keyway with a protective latch or hasp type of fitting over the locking cylinder. Also one side of the lock where the shackle would go, has a stud or some kind of rivet in it and the other side accepts a cable end. The lock doesn't give any kind of identification... None the less I pull out the old "W-"pick and go to work.... tick tock tick tock tick... POP! I was very surprise this POS popped so easy! Does anyone have any info on this type of lock model? I checked the homepage but there wasn't anything resembling this one. I put the lock back on and laughed as I looked over the whole place falsely secured with these things...

Thanks all...

After a pm from v12v12 I have decided to unlock this topic and let him explain his situation a little further .

Some things may be pick proof, but everything can be bypassed....
