What type of lock is this?

Hi there - just curous about what type of lock this is - it looks like a combination between a hex and a cylindrical tube lock. It is on an indoor wall mounted metal lockbox.

looks to me to be a Cross lock
these are actually pretty fun to open. my parents had a key box with one of those locks when we rented out rooms in our house.


its even easyer to open when you have the right tools Image
If it aint broke, Dont fix it. Just take it apart and see whats going on inside!

my friend has one of those locks on his "club", which is used for locking a steering wheel in place

attempting to pick with a pen proved unsecessful
