Gonna get some new pics which kit is better ?

Postby searsman05 » 16 Jan 2006 1:56

Alright i am finally gonna buy some new picks mine are just about dead. now i was looking at two different sets and cant decide. If you have or have used one of these kits or even know anyhting about them like quality and overall usefulness let me know which you would buy.

now this kit looks like it might be quality but only 8 pieces

The other kit i was looking at is this one, i dunno how its quality is but it is a 14 piece kit for the same price so i dunno what to do

thanks for your help

I would go with the 14 piece South Ord set if I were you. I've never heard of "Di-No" picks, but South Ord is a respectable brand and you get more picks for the same price. In addition you get four wrenches with their set so you can modify them as you see fit.

Nothing wrong with Di-No picks. But yes, the SO's are better value for money.

ya i think the SO is a better buy since it has more picks and tension wrenches, but one other question is i have some SO picks now and they seem to bend easy, maybe i am just to hard on them but i was wondering if the spring steel is any stronger. See i have never used a spring steel pick before so i dont know the quality differance between the two.
