All you need to do to get a quick answer to that question is go to paladin-press.com and search through their entire locksmith/lockpicking books and video selections and cross all of them off your list. Complete trash!
I know most people dont like hearing this since most want a picking book they can hold in their hands (God knows I did when I got started) but the MIT guide will teach you the all of the basics just the same and it'll probably save you time and a lot of money then having to buy all those books.
If you get more into this hobby and you develop a real taste for it, I recomend The Complete Book of Locks and Locksmithing series and ultimately LSS. Hope this helps.
