Sorry, I have never heard it called shimming the cuff.
I hear what you are saying.....that doesn't mean I agree with you....Just that I am nodding my head to placate you and silence your futile attempts to win the argument.

i have noticed that when the police/event security pat you down for stuff and they dont find anything they put thier hands in your pockets to double-check. however they do not check that really small pcoket above the right pocket (on most pairs of jeans, thats all i wear so i dont know about other kinds of pants.) so i figure you could put something in there and they would never know. and im sure we all know how to get your hands in front of you. (under the legs) so always have something in that pocket just in case and let me know if it works please, thanks ahead of time

Wait a minute... You WANT us to see if it works?!?!
How do you expect us to do that... I really do not want to get into a situation where I even get into handcuffs. Ever.
By the way, how on earth did you find this out? I have a friend who's dad is a policeman, and, well, she would never tell me something like that, no matter how innocent a question in this regard would be. (And I wish to stay on his good side... ... ... ...)

I think you're limiting yourself here a bit

no i dont want you to go out and get arrested for no reason, but for those of you who have ever gotten arrested chances are it will happen again. BTW all i said was keep something in that pocket just in case not put something in it and go punch someone in front of the police station. yes, i have been "taken downtown' but you can thank my friend for that one, (lets just say he made some extra money and said it was me)

You mean, you burnt down his car?

I am sorry if I am jumping to conclusions, but the way you word things is kind of nefarious... And I am scared...

no i didnt burn his whole car. i burned the 2 custom racing seats that i helped him pay for (he never paid me back and he altered them to be used on a rail system he made in shop class his senior year so i couldnt steal them and sell them back. but now he has to park on the street till he fixes his driveway and he has since put his old seats back in his car. so everything is fine and i got a good laugh out of it. i wouldnt do that to him (destroy his entire car) after all he is my friend.

Lets just say, Chuck clicked some button and the thread suddenly became hard to post in.
Besides the obvious no mentioning of criminal activity (past present and future) its a really dumb idea to attempt to remove your handcuffs when applied by the police. If you are a magician, you probably dont need our help in hide a key. Otherwise, just use the safeword .....
