Go back and click on the little sticky or announcment that says NEW USERS START HERE. Read up on that. Then go to google and type in mit guide and read that. Get some tools and practice.

LOL on the reply.

yeah u should learn to use the SEARCH. Its not that we DONT want to help but i think its more like "dude im not gonna type stuff thats already been typed." So YEAH LEARN THE SEARCH IT HELPS ALOT.

ANyways, find out what kind of lock that lock is(pin tumbler) by looking at the MIT guide which u can find on google or here and then learn to either make picks or buy them urself. Learn the basics and how a lock works so that you can get a clearer image of the lock your dealing with in ur head.

Once you get all this down. THEN you can go and work on that lock.

Do you need general "how do i pick locks" advice, or specific information about your particular lock?

I have been unable to find anything significant about Tuff Stuff locks. A picture would help educate us all.

Im pretty sure Tuff Stuff is a generic walmart brand lock(or atleast they carry them). If you understand the basics and cannot open the lock, most likely, you are using too much tension. try using the same amount of force on the tension tool as it takes to turn the key on the lock.

if you are still lost, download a copy of the MIT. It has alot of useful information that will help you get started.

Lastly, try Digital Blue's excercises for practicing using the lock picking tools. They really work, and will improve your skills at handeling the tools

Have Fun,

anbujustin, you seem to have some problem with your shift-key. It seems to get stuck every now and then.
