Locksports in denmark?

Postby thebluefish » 12 Feb 2006 18:05

Hi I'm new to this site, but have been picking for about 6 month, and would like to join a lockpicking club or have conections to events in denmark.
Is there such a club in Denmark?
Is there other Danes on this board?

Why don't you try to create one? Or a LSI chapter?

I was thinking about it, thats why I asked if there are any danes on this board. I don't know any other lockpickers or I do know of one burglar, but I don't think it counts. The only european lockpicking club I know of is toool, so if I can get contact to lockpickers in denmark I would like to bring this sport to life here!

What do you mean by that? We pick locks for sport and for the fun of it...not to steal. Go check the page of LSI - Lock sport international, it's an international lock sport group, you only need three persons interested to start a chapter, just read the rules and the rest of the information carefully. Also go check the page http://www.frappr.com/lockpicking101, it's a new project that consists of a map with the information about all people in these forum, most people haven't join it yet...but it is going. Just join it and wait for people from Denmark to join it too, then you just need to envite them to create a group or a LSI chapter.

Cheers! :P

Easy now the part about the burglar was a joke and to tell that I don't know any lockpickers in denmark. I've joined the frappr project. Is there at club in germany... can't find any!

The site of the german club is http://www.ssdev.org. That is a local club you can try and see if they help you creating a club. I've asked them for help but they never answered my email. LSI (digital_blue), will help you create a chapter of LSI if you want.

db edit: removed email address to protect my email address from nasty little webcrawling spambots. ;) My email can be found in my profile.

Han Fey

Denmark, thats Han Feys locus isn't it? I once read a supposedly true story about the danish resistance during the secondworldwar, about a lockpicking burglar who became a secret agent of the resisters. it was one of my early influences. You might try to find some information on that, it was kind of a pimpernel story as I remember. It ought to be mentioned on danish google if it really was true.

Another Dane reacts to this post.

Throw me a PM, as I would also like to get started on this sport.
