Okay, well presuming you are talking about a cheap piece of crud masterlock , I would reccomend lockpicks - it simply savs the agro of making picks when you could better spend the time practicing at the beginning.

lol... Searching will answer most of them for you, but if you're unsure, and have searched, then by all means ask - it's what I'm payed for. :wink:

It is possible, but if you actually care about learning to pick locks, don't even bother with paperclips or other household junk. I did it once with two paperclips, using one as a pick and the other as a torque wrench, and surprisingly it worked, but I just did this for the hell of it to see if I could do it.

You won't gain much insight by doing this, if you care to learn how to pick locks, buy some picks. It's as simple as that. And while you are waiting for your picks to arrive, feel free to read up on picking manuals and what not, but don't waist your time "practicing" with safety pins. Your time would be just as well spent tasting the locks for practice.

It feel sort of awkward... Gee, if you are a new bee, please do get a decent tension wrench...This one won't get you very far. But, at least you have temporary relief from the antsiness.

Sorry for the double pos, especially after the other one...

Until you get some picks, I would not use paperclips. Safety pins are stronger.

I write things that I have to remember, or really want to remember. I was at the library today, and just because I felt like it, I looked up high security locks. The note on my hand says "Norman High Sec 1976."
To me, that means tht Norman Epstien patented his Norman High security lock in 1976.

Tip: the ink will last longer if you write it longitudinally between the two creases. It won't bend as much.
