ok ihave been asked this question numerous amounts of times from friend and family(under16s) "how to fix wafer locks" well usually friends of mine brek them by sticking one of my sawtooth rakes in and bashing the disks and eventually pulling out thr cylinder from it's casing.
if this has happened to you you will notice putting the cylinder back in wont help so you do the following
1 if it is still locked push the cabinet on an angle to releae the latch.
2 grab some screw drivers fitting the screw holding the latch and unscrew the screw and take it fully out as well as the small round washer and put the cylinder in the correct slotts (easily noticeable because the square nut looking thing has one rounded corner so that it can only it can only fit one way) . it should fit perfectly in the casing unlike before then you put everything on the way you took it off and it should work normally
hope this helps someone.
