All i was saying was that someone could possiblyput glue in the lock of number 25 ,perhaps maybe,you never know,

Well, remember, your goal is probably just to get the thing open. I'd change the lock after a glueing no matter how clean I thought I'd gotten it.

Oh that goes without saying i was just concerned with what to do if i found a glued lock that was not open :wink:

On a serious note, in my previous life within the grp boat building industry, Acetone was a definate Health and Safety issue. Because of its 'thinness' (which is why it dissolves) it gets absorbed thru the skin and can accumulate within the internal organs - Of course this is over a real long time and requires the user to regularly have been having direct skin contact with the stuff. The odd spill from the old lady's nail varnish (or your own.. :wink: ) wont be a problem.
