These two small 1 inch locks open easily using that bypass method. A RUGER and US LOCK.


Lol I never knew Ruger made locks 8) I have one of their guns, but locks now thats new to me.
Cause if they catch you in the back seat
Trying to pick her locks,
They're gonna send you back to mother
In a cardboard box. (Gilmour, Waters)

Interesting...I always considered USLOCK to be of good quality. I will have to try out this trick with my own padlock to see if it still exhibits this weakness.

Hi,
You can add a Brinks one inch lock to the list also.

Bahrg, the Ruger lock and case came as a promotion when I purchased a pistol some years back......Gary

I was actually very stumped as to what happend the first time I found this trick, and since then its one of the first things I try.

works only on padlocks that have only 1 notch on the shackle (locks on one side only)mostly on small padlocks, works on many hon file cabs to.
