Like mom... Mom scolds me when I write on my hands... I really SHOULD listen to her, but until humanity evolves, having a pad of paper in the place of a third hand, my hands will have to do.
Sorry, mom...

EGOOT247, your McGyver tension wrench works! It is wonderful. Are you McGyver's girlfriend?

lol.. i had to post to this one because the first lock that i picked was with a paper clip only. Anyone know those CHEAP made in china brass looking locks? Its like the size of of your number pad on the keyboard.. kinda look like these.. http://image.magellans.com/mitcus/Images/sv835_dt.jpg

I took a paper clip made it look like a hair clip and would rake it open.. Felt like mcgyuver back then.. (this was like back when I was 10) wonder if its still possible.

First, I wan't to say nice job on the improvised tension wrench. Very classic. I assume you are talking about picking the pins on the back and not trying to shim it or anything. The way I have done is with a small safety pin bent out. It's a bit hard on the fingers because of it being so small but it does the job. It's not the best for single pinning but raking it works great. Just bend the tip of the pin a bit up and I suggest bending the actual pick part a bit to make sort of a hook rake. I'll get some pictures in a bit.
