Ive just had an Email from a customer asking about an adapter that allows a Euro profile cylinder to be fitted in an oval fitting.

Is ther such a device?

not seen one, but why would you not just fit an oval cylinder ?

I dont have both in front of me but isnt the euro a bit taller than a oval? i cant remember its been 6-7 months since i fitted the last oval.

On the nose Pinky, why not just fit an Oval? That is what i replied to the customer about 10 mins ago. He says he has seen these things at IFSEC in Birmingham and wants quite a few of them :?

cant think why, as you can get anything in oval that you can in euro, so why go to expense of extra attachements ?? no sense in it.

Im starting to think this is a bit suspicious (im not sure why) but the guy just sent me his phone no. and it starts +33.... . What sort of code is that?

As far as i know thats not a UK code (but hey i may be wrong i have no head for no.s and have trouble remembering my own no. :lol: )

I can see that you would possably get a higher security cylinder that isnt made in an oval form but thats the only reason i can think of.

I loked on the net but its coming up with france and germany for me, +3 is definatley europe though.

Just wait to see what comes back, may be a scam may not who knows, hes got your email address now if that was the aim but other than that if its a scam it can only be a money one which he would have to pay for the goods anyway unless he makes them and is fishing for orders.
