LAB Lock Picks!!!

Postby junk_yard_dog » 19 Feb 2004 13:59

I recieved my Lab lock picks today!! They are fantastic. I got them from a friend of the family, who is no longer interested in lock smithing. I am very lucky, since I was trying to find these everywhere! :D

I dont really like that "crappy" remark, southord are replica's of HPC which is the industry standard for locksmiths.
*sigh* NOOBS.

JYD,

How'd you confuse LAB picks with Southord picks?

i think SouthOrd is far from "crappy" i have one of there set's and it is a nice one at that compared to a few other's that i have seen, i should be getting my tubular picks today along with a tubular practice lock and some padlock shims =)

Didn't mean to offend

Postby junk_yard_dog » 27 Feb 2004 12:07

I thought these were LAB lock picks, they were the South Ord without the handles and without the case....kind of a similar appearance (for a NOOB), to the LAB picks. I compares to LAB site and dont look the same, but look like South Ord picks. They work fine, but I was just disappointed, that's all. I did not want to offend the die hard South Ord group here.

Hey, you said they were fantastic. Just because they're not the brand you thought they were, that shouldn't change anything.

First you say that they are fantastic and then find out that they are not the brand you thought they were and now all of a suddent the are crappy. How does the brand effect their quality all of a sudden?
You can run, but you'll just die tired.
