It appears to be more of a range rather than a particular lock. The x series for instance is the newer stuff so something from that should do the trick.

There was a BS3621 mortice lock a good few years ago called the Yale Titan. This looks and picks / decodes exactly the same as the old red ERA invincible with the brass levers and spacers, except it was in hammerite blue. The one I've got says BS 1980 on the faceplate, so it's going back a while.
If I remember correctly, Titan was just the name given to the Yale high security and BS locks at the time (80s, early 90s) and I think, what is now the Yale PBS1, (or should I say XBS1) also had 'Titan' on the packaging.
I'd just make sure you take BS locks and a PBS / XBS 1&2 Chris.
Hope this helps,
Matt

it could be the nightlatch, but more likely the old BS lock, as matt says, hammerite blue case, oval cut out around keyway, identical to the old red invincible with same oval cut out.
its an old range you wont get now, so it will be a matter of upgrading to modern BS lock.
but dont forget if fitting bs locks the bs locks with the BS3621-1998 rating are not classed as BS on fresh fits, you now need to fit BS3621-2004 locks to meet the requirement such as yale e series , fortress etc.

the bs rating pre 2004 still stands for now on existing locks fitted before january, so for now i think you will not need to worry, but with sks now selling bs3621-1998 locks as non bs locks its one to be carefull of for future.
I cant see many insurers looking at it for a while, its just worth remembering that if fitting bs locks now they should conform to the 2004 rating, technically its wrong to fit your old locks as bs, but i think 90% of lockies will be fitting these till stocks are depleted and insurers will still recognise the old locks fitted pre january as BS locks fully complying.

The only Yale Titan I know is an older nightlatch which is a Yale No1 lock
with a PBS strike and PBS cylinder escutcheon with Titan engraved on it.

Are the chubb and union 'e' series with 1998 faceplates not as compliant as the ones stamped 2004 then? Or can i continue fit them guilt free?

Pixel, great stuff
Here is a nightlatch I found advertised on ebay today that sounds like your description. I didn't know there was one that looked like the 1MS with the PBS escutcheon. I thought the whole lock and backset may have been the PBS style. I'd heard of the Yale Titan range a good few years ago, but mainly the BS lock as I said earlier.

Well that Titan BS really is in top nick Sid. My sashlock's seen much better days although it's still in one piece! (just about)
The only old lock I've got in that sort of condition is an early 70's 110 'Castle' lock in the box I bought on e-bay a couple of years back.
