Good locks to practice on in the uk

hi

can u guys please help me out here i pick locks for sport and hobbie (great buzz on opening locks ) can u give me some advice on what locks are good to try in uk for proctice i have open over 25 yale locks and over 10 diff double glazing locks in the uk so far with my own home made picks , and i just wanted to know some model numbers of good yale front door locks(or other brands ) plus good double glaze lock make models to practice on i do this alot when watching telly in evening ect im allways ask people for any locks they have to practice on and i never leave home without a home made set u never can tell lol

i will put some videos and picks soon its just i dont have net at my new adress and i am using friend pc so will have to make vids at mine then transfer here

Um, and tell us if you do manage to pick it manually. I'd certainly be interested in your technique.

Youy having problems? there not that bad once youve done a fair few, feel for the plug turning back when youve hit a spool and lift it higher, you can also overlift the pins and drop them down to the shearline which is a bit easier than feeling for the kickback whilst picking normally.

I'll dig it out again and try. I probably gave up too soon. Everyone was saying how difficult is was when it first came out.

First time i came across one was on a door, i didnt realise what it was and just thought it was a normal 6 pin Yale, that bugger took me a while to hand pick but 10 mins down the line i felt i had achieved somthing lol, i bought som e the very next day to practise on.

If your locking for a challenge I suggest you try a Kaba padlock they come in an array of anodized colours and are very sensitive to tension, also bear in mind that the keyway is some what tricky to manouvere a pick, if this is too easy go for an expensive federal range lock

yeah mate im in arse end of rayliegh and only bt is allowed broadband conections in this area and i am not giving some tech support guy permission to read my emails and monitor all my net traffic (new terms in the contract) so yeah no net at mo but im moving soon so will be back on cable soon
