I made this post just to show how large these locks are, and to the show the differences between this and a normal Mul-t-Lock mortise cylinder. This cylinder weighs 1 lb 7 oz without it's key, and it 2" in diameter. I have a Mul-t-Lock 5 pin cylinder next to the mogul cylinder in the pictures for comparison.
Here is the face of the lock:

Another, but closer:

The side:

As you can see, the interactive element in the key is in the first pin stack, which I believe is not very common in the US. Another difference is where the pins are. The pins in a normal cylinder are to the right, as is the piece that connects the top and bottom of the plug. The pins in the mogul cylinder are to the left, as is the piece that connects the plug. Therefore, you cannot insert the mogul cylinder's key into the normal cylinder, since the bitting will always be facing downward.
Another difference is how the cylinder is taken apart. In a normal Mul-t-Lock, you can pull off the brass strip on the top of the lock, exposing the pins. In the Mogul cylinder, there is no place for this brass strip, and the chambers are not threaded for set screws. To take apart the Mogul cylinder, you must turn the cam first. Turning the cam will expose the head of a screw, which runs through all of the pin chambers.
