You will have to affect an opening like you would in the case of NDE entry, i dont think any of the methods are for public eyes on here though im afraid.

What do you normally do? snap the cylinder?

Be a little more specific and i may be able to help, ie do you mean its locked with all the hooks etc thrown ? If this is the case but you have unlocked it and are unable to just withdraw all the the bolts due to the handle spinning have you tried lifting it up ? Some hinges allow you to do this some dont.Let me know the exact situation in a pm and i will try and help.

If you have a couple of airwedges pump the door open enough to see the locking mech then try and manipluate to multipoints with preferably a glazing shovel as this wont damage upvc and try and get the points to retract as this is should be easy as you have unlocked the door so you are now just doing the job of the handle/spindle. If its double french doors you can some times get to the slave doors lock at the top and the bottom of the door release these and it will be a great help. Hope this makes sense... i know what i mean!!. :)

If you can lock/unlock with the key, then the mechanism is engaged (handle up). As previously mentioned, you'll need to get to the hooks/mushrooms/rollers and manually move them before slipping the latch.
